Assistant Accountant – Dar es Salaam – World Wide Fund

Main task:
-Under the directives of the Financial Analyst, the Assistant
-Programme Accountant’s responsibilities will be to: provide hands on
-support to the Finance team on all financial and operational issues to
-ensure effective management of the TCO Programs and projects.
-Oversee implementation of donor and WWF’s operational policies,
-procedures standards and systems including budget management. financial
-reporting, audits etc.;.
-Support and coordinate development of program’s operational. strategic
and business plans and ensure effective
-implementation of the same, and Perform other functions as may be
-directed by the Financial
-Analyst and TCO Head of Finance.

Development and Partnerships Manager
The Role:
The Post holder will manage fundraising efforts and donor care at
country level; including planning, managing and ensuring the delivery of
an agreed fundraising budget. He/she will lead and support TCO’s
programme staff, senior management, finance and admin staff to deliver
upon all donor commitments and to drive fundraising amongst all donor
groups.

He/she will oversee systems that monitor fund raising and partnership
relations (e.g. Regular reviews of donor reports and other
communications, MOU’s and other agreements, funding proposals and policy
dialogues. The success of this role is measured on: income raised,
income growth year on year, number of donors maintained, number of new
donors recruited, number of fundraising proposals submitted.
