Duties and responsibilities:
– Carry out audit work according to monthly audit plan and carry out special investigation audit.
– Prepare audit report after computing, calculating, verifying, tabulating, analyzing data and send by email to senior audit officer keeping the CHIA in CC in time.
– Ensure conformity with internal audit manual in all phases of the audit process.
– Document, evaluate and test systems and control to determine the adequacy and effectiveness of the internal control, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures and circulars, reliability and integrity of information and safeguarding assets.
– Prepare, preserve various documentations for audit work such as working papers, audit program, supporting evidence, permanent file, current file, circulars, minutes and office memo for review by senior audit officer
– Attend entry conference to discuss on the audit process and audit work and attend exit meeting to discuss on the audit findings identified during the course of audit with auditee’s management.
– Carry our annual inventory count, physical verification of cash, fixed assets in country office, regional office and area office.
Educational requirements:
– Bachelor Degree of commerce ( Bcom), finance, accounting or related discipline.
– CPA is and added advantage.
At least 3 years’ experience in similar position.
– Excellent communication skills.
Job Location: Dar es Salaam and Mbeya.
