Summary of key duties and responsibilities
The FD will be accountable and responsible for, among others to:
• Assist in the identification of medium and long- term strategic direction, goals and objectives for the Company;
• Ensure that AoITL achieves target profitability and with sustainable practices;
• Develop Annual Operating Plan and Capex requirements for the company and lead in budgetary control Formulate and implement Financial Policies covering: working capital management; Foreign currency procurement; Information Systems
• Maintain an understanding of and focus on tax activities of Ao’ITL, including the implications of doing business in multiple countries
• Ensure that internal audit controls and checks are correctly implemented and managed
• Coordinate proposals on areas requiring attention for submission to Local Board of Directors; ”
• Act as Compliance Officer, and ensures, through the Line Managers, the enablement, and
implementation of the requisite Company Risk and Compliance policies and processes;
• Ensure, via ‘the Heads of Department; that the agreed financial objectives and controls are implemented and managed;
• Responsible for assisting the Managing Director on all new projects including:
– due diligence
negotiation of contracts
– financial models
Qualification and. experience required:
• Business degree /Masters majoring in Finance or Accounting with a professional accounting qualification such as CPA,ACCA, lCMA, CIMA etc;
• 7 – 10 years’ experience of which 4 years must be at a senior financial management position;
• Proven relevant experience in a multinational or Big
4 International Auditing Company with demanding reporting standards and schedules;
• Experience in operating SAP for enterprise reporting;
• A knowledge of US GMP, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and SEC regulations;
• Good communication, interpersonal relationship skills as well ‘as leadership skills;
