Purpose of the Position:
• To manage FNB – Tanzania’s Credit Support Function for businesses and corporate in order to optimize return on assets
• To make recommendations on policies and procedures relating to credit in order to improve the long term management of risk and to achieve profitability

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• A minimum of B. Com College
• A minimum of 5 years lending/credit related banking experience as the Head of the Credit department
• Ability to have high level interactions with the bank’s senior management, the Board of Directors and other key stakeholders
• A working knowledge of relevant legislation and regulation

KEY RESULT AREAS
• Set objective goals targets for the Credit Support function in line with business strategic objectives
• Establish and maintain sound credit risk management policy framework in alignment with the business strategy
• Manage the credit function for corporate and business customers of FNB – Tanzania by implementing policies and procedures
• Assist with ensuring that Credit Support’s marketing approach contribute to customers satisfaction and the overall performance of the respective Bu8siness Unit
• Ensure that appropriate credit proposals are submitted to the Credit Committee and approval obtained resulting in incremental growth of FNB Tanzania’s which will ensure profitable growth
