Officer Operations, Repair And Maintenance – Dar es salaam – NMB Bank

Purpose
Reporting to the Senior Manager Facilities Operations and Maintenance and responsible to deliver work/functions related to the unit.

Specific duties and responsibilities include
• Coordinates all repairs and maintenance works with maintenance team or contractor.
• Coordinates all facilities management issues with building vendors to ensure efficient and un-interrupted operations of the building.
• Checks that agreed work by maintenance team or contractor has been completed satisfactorily and following up on any deficiencies.
• Monitors performance of service providers for maintenance, cleaning, waste disposal, security, ete. so as to achieve agreed service levels and to lead on improvement.
• Carries out Inspection of the buildings and ensures that all construction snags are identified, recorded and submitted to the contractor for rectification within defect liability period.
• Ensures that plants and equipment and other facilities in the buildings are working properly.
• Ensures the buildings meets health and safety requirement

Required qualifications and experience
• Bachelor degree in Facilities management, Civil/electrical engineering,
Construction management, Building survey, Property & Facilities management, or related field.
• At least two (2)’years of work experience in Facilities Management related to workspace operations, repair and maintenance
• Knowledge of workspace operations, repair and maintenance activities
