Project Assistant – Dar es salaam – Graca Machel Trust

The Project Assistant is an employee of the Roman Catholic. Diocese of Musoma and will provide administrative assistance to the Project Manager, Finance Manager and Monitoring and Evaluation Manager in their roles and responsibilities in order to ensure effective and efficient project implementation.

Responsibilities and Key Performance Areas
• Provide project implementation assistance to the Project Manager
• Maintain up to date project databases by collecting and capturing finance and project data tools and forms timeously
• Maintain an effective electronic and physical filing system for the project documents
• Provide finance and procurement administrative support to all staff
• Manage project events and related logistic
• Maintain an up to date project calendar of events and keep all relevant stakeholders informed of project events and logistics
• Provide any other administrative support required by all project staff in order to ensure effective project implementation and delivery
• Ensure a clean office and conducive working environment
• Any other duly delegated task

Requirements
• A relevant qualification in book keeping, secretarial work and general administration
• Proven experience in administrative support in donor-funded organizations
• Strong MS-Office computer skills including data capture
• Previous experience in running an office
• Strong organizational and events management skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Swahili
