Qualifications
• Holder of a Doctorate Degree (PhD) who is at least a Senior Lecturer in Engineering Science Technology/Science with Education.

Working Experience
• Should have teaching experience of not less than nine (9) years of which four (4) years should be in a senior Administrative position in a related higher learning Institution

Key Responsibilities:
i. Responsible to the Vice Chancellor in respect of such matters of Quality Control and Assurance
ii. The advisor of and assistant to the vice- Chancellor in respect of such matters of the University Quality Control and Assurance as may be prescribed
iii. Facilitate learning (by teaching) of academic programs in the University
iv. Responsible for smooth running and development of Quality Control and Assurance programs in the University
v. Advise on all matters pertaining to quality control and assurance
vi. Evaluate current progress of Quality Control and Assurance in the University and I recommend future measures
vii. Recommend appropriate budgets for Quality Control and Assurance
viii. Establish and Coordinate the development of Quality Control and Assurance policy and procedure. ix) Oversee the implementation of Quality assurance and and Quality control policy and procedures of the University
ix. Supervise work performance of staff in the Directorate
x. Perform any other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.

Tenure of Office
A Director of Quality Assurance shall hold the office for a term of three (3) years and may be reappointed consecutively for one more term of three (3) years upon satisfactory service.

Salary Scale: As attached to his/her duty post.
Fringe Benefits: As determined by the Council.
