Qualifications
Holder of Bachelor’s degree (NTA 8) with GPA of not less than 3.5; and overall average of B+ grade and above for unclassified degrees in the following fields of study.

Areas of Specialization
• Computer Science or Computer Engineering (3).
• Human Resources Management (2), Public Relations (1), Procurement and Logistics Management (1), Marketing Management (1), Accounting and Finance (2).
• Law (1), Education with bias in : English Language (1), Curriculum Development (1),
• Electrical Engineering (1), Marine Engineering and Technology (1), Mechanical Engineering/Chemical and Process Engineering (1), Automobile Engineering/Petroleum Engineering/Oil and Gas Engineering (1).
• Logistics and Transport Management with bias in: Air Transport (1), Road Transport (1).
• Freight Clearing and Forwarding (1).
• Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (2).

Duties and Responsibilities
Teaches up to Ordinary Diploma (NTA 6), Assists in conducting tutorial and practical exercises for students under close supervision, Prepares learning resources for tutorial exercises, Assists in conducting research under close supervision, Conducts examinations and submits results, Carries out consultancy and community services under close supervision, Performs any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Salary Scale: PHTS 1

General Conditions
(i) All applicants must attach an up-to-date CV, certified photocopies of Academic certificates (Form IV and VI National Examination certificates must be attached) and transcripts, one recent passport size picture and birth certificate, plus names and addresses of at least three referees.

(vi) Certificates from foreign universities should be verified by the Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU).
(vii) Only shortlisted candidates will be informed on a date for interview.

All vacancies carry competitive remunerations in terms of salaries/ Honorarium and other packages in accordance with the NIT Scheme of Service and Staff Regulations.
