Job Details:
Scope of work
1. Responsible for the day to day welding, fabrication and fitting in the maintenance dept. to required quality standards and timeline
2. Teaming with the carpentry team in day to day duties where need be.
3. Maintain and repair all wood works within the company’s premises
4. Working in all joinery’s Carpentry works
5. Working on Corrugated Iron sheet and Slate roofing structures
6. Hard working and team work spirit
7. Able to work under a minimum supervision
8. Creative and proactive
9. Able to work extra hours

As such the person filling this position needs to have:
• A minimum of 4 years of work experienced in Welding and fabrication duties preferably in a well-established workshop
• A Carpentry’s Certificates from any recognized collage such as VETA
• Assertiveness, patience and good organizational skills
• Keen and conversant with work safety procedures
• Hardworking and co-operative manner
• Energetic and hardworking, being ready to work late hours and on short noticed communication skills (Reading and writing skills)
• The ability to work under a continuous pressure and extra hours.
• Strong attention to detail
• Good teamwork ability, cooperative & attitude to colleague
• Flexibility-[ready to do any work, any time and at any station within company properties]
• Good time keeping and responsibility.
