DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
– Responsible for performance all water supply and sewage system according to agreed performance and public health standards
– To recommend and ensure compliance of policies standards and procedure and financial performance targets in consultantation with the finance manager
– To plan urban water developments projects
– To advice on manpower recruitment and training requirements of the technical departments
– To ensure that water productions and sewage standards and safety procedures are complied
– Maintain records on the conditions of raw water from all resources and monitor the level of undesirable dangerous and toxic substances in the water
– To carry out any other activities as may be assigned by the managing director

QUALIFICATIONS
– Holder master degree in civil engineering, water resources engineering mechanical engineering or sanitary engineering from recognized university. He/she must be registered with engineers registrations board of Tanzania as a professional engineer
– Computer literacy is an added advantage

EXPERINCE
– At least 8 years working experience
– Age note above 45 years
