KEY RESULT AREAS/ESENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Administer all contracts on site
• Provide guidance to end user on preparation of Scope of work
• Making sure the end user know ACACIA’s and the Contractors contractual responsibilities
• Ensure contractor complies with documentation compliance requirements such as registration to code of Ethics and any government body registration
• Review of contractors Monthly Statement and invoices
• Assist with majorinvoicing issues
• Ensuring the PO is correctly raised and implementing a PO strategy for ongoing goods supply and services
• Management of retention/performance bonds
• Documenting scope changes in variations to the contract
• Managing and reviewing price variations
• Managing and filing all contractual documentation to the standards required by Internal Audit
• Assist in the implementation of the P2P training program. This includes ensuring the documentation and training accessories are produced, all relevant stakeholders are engaged and perform on site and regional training workshops
• Promote contractor safety on site and support all health and safety initiatives
• To be pro-active in all aspects of operational safety, efficient utilization of the resources and encourage teamwork across the departments
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal customer and external facilities
• Identify potential savings opportunities and take appropriate action. Explore these ideas and complete BI initiatives for the potential cost savings
• Continually review every aspect of area’s activities to ensure opportunities to add value and enhance shareholder’s wealth by identifying and bringing forward for review
• Management of contractor’s headcount and overall labour requirement
PROFESSIONAL AND INTERPERSONAL DETAILS
Education
• Minimum qualification First Degree preferably in procurement and logistics
• Certificate in warehousing or Materials Management would be preferable
• Bachelor in law will be an added advantage
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
• Minimum five (5) years supply chain experience, specifically procurement, logistics and contracts management.
• Legal/ procurement/ Inventory Management qualification.
• Experienced in developing training courses
• Training experience in classroom environment
• Experience in a role that requires coordination of multiple processes or sites
• Mining experience would be considered as an asset.
• Computer literacy i.e. MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook, Pronto.
