DUTIES
– Ensuring the hospital financial and procedure and regulations adhere to through the organization
– Maintain a regular check on the accuracy of accounting records through the hospital
– Response for verifying the hospital income from source to bank and ensuring that the expenditure is properly incurred according to approved policy and efficient charged to relevant
– Regular reviews all accounting/financial budgeting/ planning procurement, IPPM policies and procedures and advice the executive director on the necessary revision ensure implementation by appropriate internal areas
– Builds effectives lions with external auditors and facilitates external auditors
– Responsible for developing and implementing audit policies and procedure
– Report immediately any suspect occurrence of dishonesty to the executive director of the hospital such as report shall be both orally and writing
– Any other assigned duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
– Applicant to this position should have degree in accountancy or equivalent qualifications from any recognize institutions With Certified A Public Accountant Professional Certificate and registered with NBAA
– A master degree in finance or business administration’s with finance option or equivalent qualification is essential
– Must have at least 8 years of practical working at senior level in reputable institutions
– Good working knowledge of computerized financial system is mandatory
– Strong analytical communication strategic planning and interpersonal skills demonstrates record of achievement initiative and highest ethical standards
– Fluent in both written and speaking English and Swahili
