The holder of this position is the chief Executive officer charged with overall leadership and management of the fund.
QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants should fulfill the following conditions
• First Degree in Finance, Accounting, Marketing, agr.economics or equivalent qualification from a recognized University.
• Masters Degree in either Finance, management, accounting or economics from a recognized University.
• Proven record of competence in financial management and general administration in a reputable institution.
• Be entrepreneurial, self-driven individual of impeccable integrity.
• Possess excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation skills and computer proficiency.
EXPERIENCE
Have a minimum of 10 years working experience at senior management level in a successful organization preferably a financial institution.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
• Background in project management and development finance will be an added advantage.
• Proven excellent track record of leadership and the ability to leadership and the ability to put together, motivate and retain a cohesive management team and as efficient workforce.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Implementation of the strategic goals and objectives of the trust.
• Developing and implementing business plans in support of the trustees strategies of creating financial capacity.
• Providing support and advice to the board on various ways of sourcing funds to create on various ways of sourcing funds to create capacity to the trustee to support coffee growers.
• Cultivating sound relationship with Government Agencies, local and international business partners and coffee stakeholders.
• Efficiently managing the fund’s assets and finances in order to enhance effectiveness.
• Preparation and presentation of operations budget and statutory reports to the Board;
• Ensuring compliance will all statutory requirements.
• CEO and overall in charge of the fund team of staff and employees.
• Secretary to the Board of Trustees.
