JOB PURPOSE
Plans, organizes and coordinates the human resource and workplace relations activities within organization.
Qualifications
• Educated to degree level in business, marketing or a related field from a reputable university.
Skills/Experience
• Good understanding of the local labor laws and employment practices.
• Minimum of 5 years’ professional experience across all HR disciplines; including staffing, benefits, compensation, development, employee relations, and labour relations.
• Sound experience supervising and managing a professional team of at least ten staff. Preferably in the manufacturing sector.

• Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment. Must include Excel and skills in database management and record keeping.
Responsibilities
• Maintains a pay plan by conducting periodic pay surveys; scheduling and conducting job evaluations; monitoring and scheduling individual pay actions and recommending pay structure revisions.
• Maintains employee benefits programs and informs employees of benefits by studying and assessing benefit needs and trends; recommending benefit programs to management.
• Maintains management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.
• Maintains historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system: keeping past and current records.
• Ensures company’s legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource government requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records; representing the organization at hearings.
• Manages employee communication and feedback through such avenues as company meetings, suggestion programs, employee satisfaction surveys and one-on-one meetings.
• Coordinates all human resources training and orientation programs and manages the company-wide committees.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
