The Human Resource Specialist will assist the Human Resource Manager with administration of human resources including employee recruitment, employee orientation, training and development, employee relations, Implementation of policies, contract management and documentation. Duties will include but will not be limited to:
• Assisting in the provision of guidance to employees on company policy and procedures and general employment issues
• Participating in the preparation of employee contracts
• Participating in the performance appraisal system
• Coordinating the training and development
• Participating in the implementation of the disciplinary process
• Maintaining detailed records of the employees; and
• Compiling and maintaining employee statistics
The Selection Criteria
• A Bachelor’s or Masters in Human Resource Management or an equivalent qualification
• 3-5 years; relevant experience
• Knowledge of the labour Laws
• Proficiency in the use of Excel or other data handling software
• Strong interpersonal skills
