Responsibilities & duties
Ensuring the projects and KPIs are delivered in time, within the budgets and resources allocated for the project by implementing the OpCo Network rollout as per the project Plan and Budget through the vendors and managed services partners;
Efficient management / governance of the contractors and partners throughout the project execution;
Ensure that the network is built as per the coverage and capacity contracted with the partners;
Get the Network initial and subsequent acceptance testing completed and handover to the Network operations and maintenance team within the agreed timelines for the projects;
Defining/discussing the interconnects with other operators and implementing as per agreements;
Optimization of the OpCo network rollout and defining & implementing variations;
Assist OpCo Business team in identifying and defining local contracts for infrastructure.
Ensure Transfer of technical skills by the group technical resources to the OpCo teams through training of OpCo teams on technology, methods and processes before the commissioning of services;
Implement all Network Operations Processes during initial rollout prior to launch;

Academic qualifications
Essential
Degree in Engineering / Telecommunications or Business
Project Management degree / diploma

Work experience & skills
Essential
Min of 3 year relevant work experience.
MS Office
MS Project
