Qualifications
Holder of Bachelor’s degree in Materials Management/ Procurement and Logistics Management or CSP, CPSP equivalent qualifications. Must be registered with PSPTB as Procurement and Supplies Professional.

Duties and Responsibilities
Assists in the receipts of goods and confirm its quality and quantity, Prepares purchases requisitions/orders upon approval by his/.her supervisor, Assists in physical verification of various stocks under the guidance of Senior Officer, Assist in dealing with stores , purchasing or clearing and forwarding and matters related therein, Assist in preparing plans for disposal of surplus assets and obsolete stock, Assist in vendors evaluation process and advice accordingly, Performs any other duties as directed by his/her supervisor.

Salary Scale: PGSS 7

General Conditions

(vi) Certificates from foreign universities should be verified by the Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU).

Remuneration
All vacancies carry competitive remunerations in terms of salaries/ Honorarium and other packages in accordance with the NIT Scheme of Service and Staff Regulations.
