She/he will report to the Senior Quality Officer. This position is based in Moshi and on open ended contract basis involving travels.
Key Responsibilities will include:
• Provide training and technical support to healthcare facilities in the quality improvement process
• Perform base line health facilities assessments, assist in developing quality upgrading plans and monitoring of the implementation
• To ensure that quality upgrading plans are properly implemented and synchronized with the approved business plans
• Develop monthly, quarterly and annual project reports
Key Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience Required
• Minimum of a Diploma in Clinical Medicine, Nursing, Public Health or any health equivalent health related field
• Advanced Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Medicine/ Nursing or equivalent degree will be an advantage
• At least 2 years experience in the relevant field with some experience of working in performance improvement/quality management position
• Excellent command of English and Kiswahili languages (both written and spoken) .:.
• Good Computer skills in MS excel, Word, Power point, internet etc
