Senior Management Training – Dar es salaam – Peace Corps Tanzania

Peace Corps is potentially looking to fill two (2) Senior Management Training positions. Training Manager and Master Trainer. The Training Manager develops calendars of training events and integrated learning activities which provide American Peace Corps trainees (PCTs) and volunteers (PCVs) with the skills, knowledge, and attitudes necessary to integrate into their communities of assignment and to work safely and effectively in Tanzania for two years. The master Trainer will be responsible for insuring the quality of the entire organizational training continuum during a volunteer`s two years of service. These Senior Management Training positions work closely with the Director of programming and Training, the training team and program managers to design, coordinate, and implement all peace corps Tanzania training events, including.

• Coordinating with staff on training components of various training events.
• Working with all staff to provide quality training for volunteers and their Tanzania coworkers.
• Providing professional guidance, ensuring quality of training content and delivery, assessing and documenting training outcomes, and motivating and maintaining open communication to improve the monitoring and evaluation of training throughout PCVs service.

Requirements
• Bachelors degree in public health, adult education, community development or other field related to peace corps programming
• 4 years progressively responsible experience in training management and delivery, with demonstrated experience of trainees with varied backgrounds.
• Demonstrated experience teaching adults and knowledge of adult education techniques, gender analysis, community analysis and project and training management.
• Language fluent written and spoken English and Swahili.
• Ability to develop lesson plans, facilitates training sessions and workshops, and organize length training courses.
• Ability to use Microsoft office (including MS Word, Excel and Power point) required.
• Ability to pass U.S Embassy background security check.
