Purpose of the Position
To ensure that medical vetting is promptly done in an effective manner as well as ensures the proper keying of claims in the system.
The successful candidate will be based in Dar Es Salaam and will report to Customer Service Manager

Duties and Responsibilities
• Vetting of medical bills as follows:- To confirm if the doctor has authorized the receiving of the services where required, To check if authorizing letter is accompanied with the invoices, Examine the services given and if covered, Vetting as per price list and Vetting only providers.
• Reconciliation of medical bills.
• Data entry in system.
• Report sharing.
• Preparing payment summary letter and dispatch with vetted invoices to relevant offices.

Qualifications and Experience
The successful candidate should possess the following minimum qualifications:

Education/Skills
• Diploma in clinical medicine with in depth knowledge of medical claims management.
• Experience: medical claims processing, data processing, report generation and analysis, performance management, medical insurance, knowledge of medical tariff codes and treatment protocols (STGS), project management skills.

Attributes
• Self motivated, networking and team player, detailed problem solving approach, positive attitude, good communication skills (written & verbal), assertive, decisive and strong people management skills.
