Sponsorship Administrator – Dar es salaam – Plan International

The Role
The purpose of this position is to coordinate Sponsorship Communications from the Programme Units (PU) and to support sponsorship department in Plan systems according to the corporate requirements. Adherence to the corporate requirements will ensure compliance to Plan International communication expectations and continuous sponsorship activities.

Dimensions of Role
The position holder will directly report to Sponsorship Manager. The position coordinates and monitors timeliness and quality of PU sponsorship communications to meet required standards and sponsorship commitments.

Typical Responsibilities- Key End Results
• Consolidates weekly, monthly and quarterly sponsorship reports from PUs.
• Consolidate green sheets information from PUs and monitoring.
• Provide support for Child Data users.
• Review communications to check for compliance (hard copies and checking.
• Manage dispatch of sponsorship communications to PUs and NOs.
• Monitor NOIs.
• Coordination of Sponsor visits .
• Support PUs in training CVs.
• Monitor of SCU/SCI production processes for PUs.

Dealing with Problems
• Good understanding of Sponsorship systems is required to enable to solve most of the problems and identify whether they are user related or could be solved locally or can be escalated to help desk.

Communications and Working Relationships
• Effective working relationship within Plan is essential, including with Program Units , National Offices, Regional Office, and other country office staff.

Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours
Knowledge
• A Bachelors’ degree in social sciences, management, education, development studies, or any child centred related field.
• An additional qualification in Public relations will be an added advantage.
• 2-3 years’ experience in the related field at a similar level.
• Experience in community capacity building and child rights programming.
