Consultancy Assignment: Career Development

Purpose:
UNICEF, the world’s leading organization working for the rights of children, seeks a consultant to support the continued development of the interventions, and tools for Career Development within UNICEF (based on a defined strategy/framework and guidelines developed in 2012).

Minimum requirements and competencies:
• A university degree in Human Resources, preferably specialized in Career Development/Counseling
• At least 5 to 7 years’ experience working in Human Resources, and in particular in Career Development/Counseling.
• Project/programme management skills including procurement of services, management of vendors, financial monitoring and communication/marketing strategies
• Experience of implementation and administration of cutting-edge, innovative knowledge sharing technologies (such as wikis, CoPs, webinars, blogs, etc.)
• Excellent analytical, conceptual and writing skills
• Excellent command of English, both written and oral (Familiarity with another UN working language, Spanish or French, an asset)
• Ability to work with multiple teams in a multi-cultural environment
• Familiarity and prior experience with the UN system, with UNICEF, or with a similar non-profit organisation an asset.
